Nilgiri Chicken Korma

  1. Chicken – 1kg
  2. Onion – 3 chopped fine
  3. Garlic – 1 tea spoon
  4. Ginger – 1 tea spoon
  5. Tomato – 1
  6. Garam Masala – 1 tea spoon
  7. Grated coconut – 1 cup
  8. Gren chillies – 3
  9. Coriander leaves – 1 cup chopped
  10. Puthina leaves – ¼ cups
  11. Cashew nuts – 5
  12. Perumjeerak – ½ tea spoon
  13. Oil – 1 cup
  14. Salt – as needed

Method

Grind 7,8,9,10,11,12 in a grinder to a paste. Heat oil in a pan and sauté 2.
Add in 3,4,5,6 and sauté. Add in ½ cup water and bring to boil. Put in the chicken pieces.
When about 75% done add in this paste prepared. When chicken is fully done serve hot.
