Makeup TIPS

A few tips for the rainy season;

Lip Care

  • Sprinkle a pinch of sugar on the surface of a cut lemon. Scrub it on your lips. Your lips will shine.
  • Make a mixture of honey, sugar and a few drops of olive oil. Massage the lips with this for 10 minutes.
  • Massage your lips with a few drops of milk on a cotton piece. The dead cells will be replaced with new sparkling cells.
  • Soak 3-4 rose petals in milk. Make it into a paste and add honey and glycerin to this. Use this on your lips.
  • Lemon juice, honey and curds is another mix.
  • Lemon and glycerin mix can be used every day.

To avoid sweat odor

  • Bath twice a day
  • Use only cotton clothes, especially under garments.
  • Drink lot of water. This helps to regulate the body temperature.
  • Make green Tea a habit.
  • Say No to alcohols and smoking.
  • Try to use onion free, masala free and oil free food.

Ayurvedic Facial Bleach

  • Lime Juice - 1 tea spoon
  • Milk (cold) – 1 tea spoon
  • Turmeric Powder – 1 tea spoon
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Green gram powder – 1 tea spoon

Make a mixture with the above ingredients and use a face pack for about half an hour. Wash it off using basin flour and warm water. It acts as an excellent bleaching agent. Use it continuously for 10 days and check the difference.

Make up

Cleanse your face with cleansing cream and moisturise it. Then use a compact powder and thats just right a make up. Smudging an eye pencil is more trendy now a days than using an eyeliner. If necessary a nude  coloured eye shadow may be used. If the eyebrows are thin and light, shade them with an eye brow pencil. A transparent mascara would always be a better choice for the not over done look. A fair skin will be complimented with dark orange or dark beige lipsticks. No majantha shades are recommanded for older ages.
